Clients can switch their studio booking to the live stream
A client booked in the studio who tries to book or join your live stream online is offered to switch their booking to online — with the effect on their pass, and any late-cancellation fee, shown before they confirm.
# Clients can switch their studio booking to the live stream When a client who is booked in the studio tries to book or join the live stream of the same class online, on a member site or app that offers the switch, they're asked: "You're already booked in-studio. Switch to online?", with **Switch to online** and **Keep my in-studio booking**. Before they confirm, they see exactly what the switch does: - outside your cancellation window, nothing extra — if streaming is included in their pass, the class is returned; - inside your cancellation window, their studio place counts as a late cancellation, exactly as if they had cancelled late themselves: whatever your late-cancellation rule does (the class isn't given back and/or the late fee is charged) applies. The studio booking is recorded as a late cancellation and a new streaming booking is made, which costs what streaming normally costs on their pass. Your own cancellation settings decide: if clients can't cancel their own booking (or can't cancel late), they can't switch either and are asked to contact you. After the class has started, a client can switch only while your late-joining setting lets viewers in. The client gets an email confirmation of the change when your booking confirmations are switched on and, if a late fee applies, the same late-cancellation fee notice as a late cancel. The studio spot they free is offered to your waitlist until the class starts.
Live preview and member live player work in current Chrome
The **Go Live** preview and the web live-class player could stay on "Connecting to stream…" in current desktop Chrome while the encoder was connected and online viewers on other players saw the class. Chrome now reports built-in HLS support, but its built-in player could not play the live stream, and the page retried that same path every few seconds.
